Deception a Strategy?

During the Cold War, the competition between the two rivals, United States and Soviet Union, was not only about increasing the sphere of influence, but also these two super powers competed in the realm of science and technology. In fact, the assertion was that a viable and efficient political-economic system facilitates the progress of humanity, science and technology. Therefore, each economic system tried to prove that efficiency and viability of system by realizing science and technology related goals. The Soviet Union was able to send its rocket, carrying a man, to moon, which gave birth to different kinds of apprehensions. The apparent apprehension was the Soviet Union progressing at unprecedented pace in the realm of science and technology and the implicit apprehension, of Untied States, was that space and cosmic objects could be used by Soviet Union against Untied States or increases the potency of its war machine, of which United Statutes was somewhat petrified. 

It is a known fact that war, which has many manifestations, uses deception as an instrument. The deception has great advantages, as it could create different kinds of challenges confusion, in the moon of enemy. However, a deception at greater scale and of great quality requires massive allocation of resources.

For many years, United States’ claim, of Moon landing, is being challenged; however, very recently, around two decades ago, more credible evidence has been unearthed, which has turned Moon landing in to a controversy, from a conspiracy theory. In these videos too, interviews, of very relevant individuals related to Moon landing, and footage are presented as evidence. For instance, the walking of astronauts in space suits, their fall to the ground, the strings that are used to pick these astronauts up and interview of ex-CIA director have been used to endorse the view point.  In addition, the death, of ex CIA-Director, in extra-ordinary circumstances, is also an abnormal incident related to an abnormal episode of moon landing.

Opinion

I was of the view that “Moon Hoax” was only a conspiracy, which is generally hatched by wicked people to make something extra-ordinary controversial. Therefore, when I started looking at the evidence, in the form of videos, I became quite apprehensive regarding the moon landing, as the evidence provided is very compelling or convincing.

It all starts with the footage, which shows inconsistencies in the moon landing. For instance, the location, which has been used for moon landing was again used for exploration. For instance, when astronauts displace/moves 4kilometers away from the position of their landing, the background does not change. Rocks, of same size and shape are there, which we find at place of landing. Another piece of footage has revealed that strings are being used for the fake moon-walk. The manner, in which one of the astronauts picks himself up, after the tumble, makes entire episode, of Moon Landing, seem fake.

Then the interview, of ex-CIA director and the environment in which he dies further makes person suspicious of moon landing. It is very apparent that ex-CIA director wanted to reveal few secrets, but he never got the time.

In my opinion, the onus is on NASA to give answers to the questions, which have appeared after the unearthing of more credible evidence. This is an obligation of NASA because it was NAA’s enterprise, which ran on tax-payers money. In addition, if these questions are not addressed, there will be serious ramifications, as people will start to question all the achievements of NASA. Other conspiracy theories, which are not backed by strong and credible evidence, will also gain weight and they will also be projected as credible theories.
